Richard Marrotte, O.D.

Dr. Richard Marrotte, earned his Doctor of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry in 1985, following the completion of his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Connecticut in 1980.

With an impressive career spanning over 39 years, Dr. Marrotte brings expertise in specialties such as Keratoconus, Glaucoma, Diabetic Care, Anterior Segment Disease, and Dry Eye. As a Certified Ortho-Keratology Practitioner and Certified LASIK Care Provider, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, including managing pre- and post-operative care for cataract and LASIK surgery patients.

The spark for Dr. Marrotte's journey into optometry came from a personal experience when his father endured an eye injury, resulting in vision in only one eye. This profound experience ignited his passion for the field, transforming him into an advocate for educating patients about the remarkable capabilities of the human eye.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Marrotte enjoys a range of hobbies, including golf, skiing, cycling, and traveling.
